Join NM Wild's Bernard Tibbetts and Santa Fe's Wilderness Seeker hiking group for a beautiful hike and trail stewardship on Saturday, August 25th. Participants will meet in the Ski Santa Fe parking lot at 7am and head up the Winsor Trail. The group will stop for a break at the Rio Nambe to remove some remaining pieces of railing from the bridge and set aside to be picked up on the way back down (about three small pieces of wood). After, the group will head up the trail until it intersects with the Skyline Trail #251, which leads up and over Baldy’s SE ridge and eventually to Lake Katherine. Participants will continue along 251 to the left (North) until the group reaches the top of the SE ridge. The distance from the parking lot to this ridge is approximately 6.5 miles.
