Join volunteer guide Gosia Allison-Kosior for this 6-10 mile hike to Black River Springs on the Guadalupe District of the Lincoln National Forest.
Expect beautiful views of the Guadalupe Mountains while traversing the Chihuahuan Desert to an active spring. It will be spring in southern New Mexico so expect to see some spring flowers in bloom. Great chance for wildlife viewing, too!
The hike will range between easy and difficult hiking along an old jeep road and canyon bottom.
There will be an option to do a longer 10 mile loop of moderate to difficult hiking or a 6-7 mile in and out hike of easy to moderate hiking. Hike choice will depend on group abilities and the weather. FREE EVENT!
