27, 2022The New Mexico Wild staff and board want to thank all of our members who participated in our Board of Directors election last month. Voting in a board election is an important way to make your voice heard as a member of New Mexico Wild.
The results are in, and we’d like to congratulate Todd Schulke and Keegan King for being voted in by membership for another term. They are both invaluable members of our board, bringing experience, expertise, and a passion for wilderness and equity to every board meeting.
We also want to congratulate Carol Johnson, who was reappointed by the board for another term. Carol’s contributions to the New Mexico Wild board are vital and we’ll be glad to have her on for another three-year term.
And finally, a warm welcome and a big congratulations to Holley Hudgins and Starr Woods for being appointed by the board for their first term. Holley is a Silver City local whose long history of advocacy for her region and the natural world make her a great fit for the New Mexico Wild board. Starr is a Wyss Fellow on the Colorado/Southwest land protection team at The Trust for Public Land, and we are thrilled to have her join the board. Bringing new voices to the Board of Directors is crucial to our continued success advocating for the Wilderness, Wildlife, and Water of New Mexico. We are humbled by their enthusiasm to contribute to New Mexico Wild’s mission.
For the Wild!
