At Panchuela Trailhead in the Pecos Wilderness
Join New Mexico Wild's Lois Manno for a hike to Cave Creek in the Pecos Wilderness on Saturday, October 9!
Meet at the Panchuela Campground just off of Forest Road 121 at 9:00 a.m. on October 9. We will take the Panchuela Trail to Cave Creek.
This will be a 5.5-mile round trip hike. Total elevation gain is 869 feet.
The trail is well-shaded, but please come prepared with water, sunscreen, and snacks just in case. Also, prepare for the possibility of rain.
