Bosque Cleanup for National River Cleanup Day

9:30 am

Join us to celebrate National River Cleanup by cleaning up our riparian corridor along the Rio Grande in Albuquerque! In partnership with other organizations, including CABQ Open Space, we will be targeting different spots along the river to maximize our collective impact. New Mexico Wild volunteers will gather at the Northwest corner of the National Hispanic Cultural Center parking lot off of Avenida Dolores Huerta and hike into our group site from there.

All work tools (garbage bags, PPE, trash grabbers) will be provided. Feel free to wear your own work gloves if you prefer them, but they will also be available to loan. Be sure to wear sun protective layers and come prepared for unpredictable weather, intense sun exposure, and heat. Bring lots of water! Please note that no facilities are available on site.

Where: Albuquerque Bosque at the Avenida Dolores Huerta Bridge

When: May 16 | 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
