Wildland Monitor Volunteer Training

9:30 am
Las Cruces | Thomas Branigan Memorial Library and Prehistoric Trackways National Monument

Join us in Las Cruces Saturday, December 12th, for a Wildland Monitor Volunteer Training. We will meet in the morning for the technical training component (required) and then head out to the Prehistoric Trackways area for field practice (optional) in the afternoon. Bring your charged smart phone, walking shoes, water, and sun protection!

Wildland Monitoring volunteers visit lands in New Mexico that have wilderness qualities to document findings using an app on your smartphone. This work is critical in our efforts to protect New Mexico’s wildlands.
