Part Time and Seasonal (June-October) various locations, New Mexico Reports to: Conservation Organizer
Job Summary: New Mexico Wild is seeking versatile, motivated, energetic staff to further our mission to protect New Mexico’s wilderness, wildlife, and water by engaging community members through a variety of methods.
Outreach and volunteer coordination:
- Tabling, canvassing, outings, and other public-facing outreach activities as needed
- Schedule, and coordinate with volunteers
- Assist with event planning and execution
- Track results and personalize follow up with new supporters
Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for conservation and New Mexico’s public lands, wildlife and water
- Clear, warm, and effective communication skills
- Strong reliability, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Interest and ability to engage members of the public in conversation about conservation issues
Expected Outcome: Staff in this role will build public awareness of and engagement with New Mexico Wild’s conservation work, growing our base of supporters and members across the state. Success looks like meaningful conversations, new connections, and tangible increases in community participation and support.
Compensation: $20 per hour
